Research carried out by Guaranteed Irish suggests that an extra €4 per household per week on Guaranteed Irish products would result in 6,000 extra jobs, and the vast majority of Irish consumers (86%) say Irish companies should highlight the fact that their products or services are Irish. Guaranteed Irish aims to increase awareness of, and demand for Irish products and services. Leading up to Christmas time Guaranteed Irish are running a campaign “Shop for Ireland”. We would like to encourage consumers to buy quality produced Irish products. Irish retailers and suppliers are struggling to maintain Irish jobs, so it is imperative that we support local business and enterprises this Christmas. Buying Irish means we secure Irish jobs.
Switching some of our purchases could dramatically change our economy. When consumers buy an Irish product or service they are helping to sustain and create jobs and promote growth for our economy.
As the Irish economy struggles and with an increasing number of people out of work, we all have a responsibility to do what we can to protect the best interest of our manufacturing and services industries.
Guaranteed Irish’s goal is to maximise employment and assist companies in their marketing programme to demonstrate what is excellent about their Irish produced products in today’s highly competitive market place.
