In 1866 John Magee opened a small drapers shop in Donegal Town – here he bought and sold tweed. Robert Temple, his cousin joined the business a few years later and bought the business in 1900. Magee 1866 is a 5th generation Irish family business, It is a timeless yet contemporary brand established in County Donegal.
The brand is built on real heritage using distinctive colourful fabrics inspired by the rich tapestry of Donegal’s sea and landscapes. Each piece captured this heritage with contemporary styling. This year Magee celebrates their 150th anniversary.
The family values of quality, creativity, loyalty and integrity, established 150 years ago are upheld by Charlotte, Patrick and Lynn Temple.
