Viatel’s Damien McCann brings a wealth of experience to Guaranteed Irish.
Tuesday September 17th, 2019: Guaranteed Irish, the business membership network championing 600+ homegrown and indigenous businesses in Ireland, has appointed Viatel’s Damien McCann to its Board of Directors.
Damien McCann, a Dundalk native and Director of Sales & Marketing, has progressed through the ranks at Viatel, the leading Irish cloud and technology company and has developed a wealth of experience helping indigenous Irish companies and multinationals around cloud, security and telecoms strategies. In 2016 Damien took over as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Viatel Ireland, an integral member of the leadership team tasked with transforming Viatel direction and quickly disrupting the traditional telecoms market in Ireland. Damien is a strong ambassador for broadband and use of technology in rural Ireland and has been heavily involved in rural initiatives to fund and develop local rural community hubs for local small business and community enterprise across Ireland. Damien’s experience in the technology industry will lead him to spearhead the development of the Guaranteed Irish network in the technology sector in Ireland.
