Guaranteed Irish, the business membership network championing 1,500+ homegrown and indigenous businesses in Ireland, has appointed MSD Ireland’s Mairead McCaul to its Board of Directors representing the Pharmaceutical sector.
Mairead McCaul currently holds the position of Business Unit Director, Oncology & Market Access in MSD Human Health Ireland. She and her team are responsible for leading the Ireland Oncology strategy & operation & also the market access & pricing function. Having joined MSD Ireland in 2007, she has progressed through a sequence of roles of increasing responsibility in Sales Management, Marketing & Commercial Operations. As a member of the Human Health Leadership Team, she is passionate about the value that a diverse and inclusive work environment can bring to individuals, teams & the business & currently leads the MSD Women’s Network in Europe.
From an industry perspective Mairead is a member of a number of forums within Irish Pharmaceutical Healthcare Association. Prior to joining MSD in 2007, Mairead worked for 8 years within the laboratory diagnostics sector. She qualified in nursing & midwifery & holds a BA (Hons) in Business Management from Dublin Business School.
Mairead’s experience in the pharma industry will lead her to spearhead the development of the Guaranteed Irish network in the pharma and health sector in Ireland.
