We’re looking for an Events and Business Development Executive and a CRM and Sales Administrator to join our expanding team.

Events and Business Development Executive


Do you love planning and running events? Do you have a passion for business development and relationship management? Would you like to work with a national brand which represents 500+ leading companies in Ireland?

You’ll work closely with our CEO and Communications Manager at our office in Dublin 2 to manage our calendar of events. Your goal will be to help us continuously improve our events offerings to retain our current membership and grow our membership network. This position will suit an events professional with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience, with a business development focus and a strong work ethic.

Key responsibilities:

  • Research, plan and execute the Guaranteed Irish calendar of events to grow our membership network and retain existing members
  • Utilise events to create a desire to seek out information on and applications for membership
  • Capture valuable leads from events and enter into the CRM system, contributing to the sales pipeline
  • Send event invitations and information to members and non-members using Mailchimp
  • Work with our members to understand and meet their requirements, building long term relationships and ensuring client satisfaction
  • Assist in the marketing of Guaranteed Irish events to maximise attendance and ROI
  • Attend ad-hoc Guaranteed Irish and industry events, sharing content on social media
  • Attending networking events as and when required, utilising strong interpersonal skills to network with business professionals at all levels
  • Liaise with external partners such as PR agencies and events companies
  • Manage annual budgets for events and conduct strategic review of events on an ongoing basis
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned by Management

Required skills and experience:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in event management
  • 2 years’ experience in sales/business development
  • Degree educated in business, marketing, or related desirable
  • Fast learner with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to network successfully with business leaders and key influencers
  • Commitment to building strong business relationships with clients, focused on exceeding client expectations
  • Strong organisational, presentation, and communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Good photography skills – able to capture images at events for social media
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
  • Comfortable operating to multiple deadlines and handling many projects at once
  • Ambition and an ability to work on own initiative to see tasks through to completion
  • A good focus on effective cost control for budgets
  • Must have ability to confidently represent the company at events and carry out event set up/break downs
  • Must have full, clean driver’s licence, and own transport is desirable
  • Native English with excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of and interest in current affairs and the business landscape in Ireland

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with email marketing software (MailChimp) and a CMS system (Zoho) is a plus

CRM and Sales Administrator


Are you a confident, CRM and sales administration professional? Do you have excellent communication, administrative and digital skills?

The ideal candidate for the CRM and Sales Administrator will be a self-starter, with a proven track record in sales and client relationship management, as well as working with a CRM system, who is results-driven and works well on his/her own initiative.

The successful candidate will work as part of a small, busy team, and will be tasked with growing our membership base while managing relationships with existing clients to ensure retention. The role will also involve performing PA duties to the organisation’s CEO.

The role is part-time (20 hours per week), based at our Head Office in Dublin 2, and reports to the CEO.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Managing the CRM system, (Zoho), prospect for new sales and develop a qualified pipeline of new sales opportunities.
  • Taking ownership of lead opportunities and managing one’s own pipeline to close sales within forecast period
  • Pro-actively build relationships with new and existing clients to grow membership base and retain existing members
  • Educate and encourage members to successfully leverage their Guaranteed Irish membership through brand activations
  • Efficiently handle inbound membership queries and outbound membership sales campaigns (over the phone and via email)
  • Maintain the CRM system and ensure records are accurate and kept current, working closely with Accounts
  • Attend weekly team meetings and provide sales and activation reports
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly membership targets and other KPIs
  • Managing the diary of the CEO, setting up sales meetings for the CEO, booking facilities, and general duties as business partner to the CEO, exercising strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the Guaranteed Irish brand, its values and its membership network
  • Keep up-to-date with Guaranteed Irish’s PR and marketing strategy, developments on its digital platforms as well as its calendar of events
  • Occasionally represent Guaranteed Irish at key events

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in sales and client management is essential
  • Minimum 1+ year of experience as a business partner/PA
  • A very results-driven individual with excellent closing skills
  • Ability to work effectively on own initiative and unsupervised
  • Excellent phone manner
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and fast typing skills
  • Strong digital skills and experience using a CRM platform (e.g. Zoho or similar)
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail
  • A team-player with a positive “can-do” attitude
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a passion for customer service
  • Fluent in English
