Guaranteed Irish is the national symbol of trust and provenance for businesses in Ireland. With sales exceeding over €1 billion in 2021, approximately 90% of all revenue generated from sales of National Lottery games was returned to communities in the shape of prizes (56%), funding Good Causes (29%) and commission to retailers (5%) all over Ireland.

Welcoming Premier Lotteries Ireland into the Guaranteed Irish community, Chief Executive of Guaranteed Irish, Bríd O’Connell said, “We are delighted to officially welcome PLI, the operators of the National Lottery into the Guaranteed Irish family. When we assess applicants for membership, we look at three core pillars – jobs, community and provenance. Communities all over Ireland have benefitted from the National Lottery, in some way since it’s foundation and we are pleased to recognise the contribution that the organisation have made to our society as operators of the National Lottery in Ireland.”

Chief Executive of Premier Lotteries Ireland, Andrew Algeo said, “As an Irish business, we are all incredibly proud of the contribution we make to Irish society through the sale of National Lottery games, each and every day. A recent Benefacts report estimated that 34% of all charitable giving in Ireland came through our players participation in National Lottery games. Our players and of course, our individual retail partners continue to play a vital role in raising Good Causes funds for their local communities which has a long-lasting impact on every town, village and community in Ireland. The National Lottery is all about enhancing people’s lives, not just for those who win but for everyone in our society.”
